Guidelines for Initial Submission of Manuscripts

COMPETITIVENESS REVIEW

An International Business Journal

The Competitiveness Review, an international blind-refereed business journal, is concerned with competitiveness issues around the globe.  It is devoted to the understanding and improvement of theory and its application to issues pertaining to competitiveness.  Conceptual and empirical studies with a practitioner focus are sought.  All articles that report on current thinking and the practices of competitive organizations are considered.  Articles that predict future developments and reflect futuristic thinking are encouraged.

Submissions might address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

Manuscripts should adhere to the style and format outlined in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.  Include a separate title page that lists the names and institutional affiliations of all authors and their phone and fax numbers.

Authors are advised to limit each submission to 20 double-spaced typewritten pages including tables and figures.  Submit three copies (along with a diskette using MS Word 2000).  Please include in the submission letter a statement indicating that the manuscript is not under concurrent consideration elsewhere along with a brief autobiography.  Each manuscript is reviewed by our editorial board and/or by ad hoc reviewers, a process that may take two to three months.  Articles in the CR are indexed/abstracted in the A Matter of Fact Index, Sociological Abstracts, Technical Education and Training Abstracts, and Quality Control and Applied Statistics and are available on microfilm from ProQuest Information & Learning, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
