Schroth Industries' main product is UltraWood. Its primary attribute is its superior quality. The UltraWood™ process starts by selecting the highest grade of lumber. There are no UltraWood™ products that use anything less than grade #1 or #2 yellow pine. The wood typically comes from the forests of North Carolina and Texas and istplant1.jpg (14180 bytes) shipped to the many treaters across the United States. CSI's (Chemical Specialties Inc.) treaters then process the wood with a special formula treatment that no other company has been the able to duplicate.

CSI's true advantage is that their water repellant chemical penetrates the heart of the wood. This differs from the chemical formulas of other treated into lumbers which do not similarly reach the heart of the wood. UltraWood™ also contains three times more water repellent than most of the other competitors. UltraWood™, like other competitors, also puts an inhibitor into the treatment to protect the wood from molds that cause discoloration and unwanted staining. UltraWood™ treated lumber has other advantages such as not needing "sealed" each year. Since the wood already contains a water repellent, after market products such as Thompson's Water Seal, are no longer necessary either.

The product also comes with a fifty-year performance guarantee. No other competitor in the market is able to offer this type of guarantee. UltraWood™ is used for decking, deck accessories, fencing, posts, boat docks, siding, landscaping accessories, timbers, outdoor furniture and utility poles.
